SF | So Long Farewell...♥
Hii :)
This is the final part to my San Francisco trilogy of posts. Enjoy x
San Francisco has only one drawback - 'tis hard to leave.
I've always been the type of person to get obsessed or overly attached to new places I visit, therefore San Francisco wasn't an exception, at the time I honestly did take the whole trip for granted, didn't realise how lucky I was therefore the difficulty didn't kick in until I was back at home a few weeks later. Now about 9 months later I'm still missing the amazing city and would love to be able to go back soon.
The quote above really is one of the truest things I have seen, I didn't feel too sad leaving initially but crossing the Bay Bridge out of the city was quite emotional however as we started our journey to Yosemite. Looking back at old photos from the trip does make me smile crazy as I remember the amazing and special memories but also sad, sad that those amazing days are gone but does make me hope that I can relive them sometime in the future.
I would say San Francisco, and California overall, was the hardest place to leave for me, I think the people were amazing and the whole city was so welcoming and friendly, not to mention the amazing pizzas aha. Not only did I find the lyrics in Jack and Jacks 'California' very true, aha, "never going home" but I found that almost every quote on San Francisco that I saw was so so true and relatable in some way. One thing I do wish we did was visit the 'Coit Tower' the views look amazing so that is definitely somewhere I want to go if I ever visit again.
Overall, I pretty much want to say if you ever get the opportunity to go, do it! It's so beautiful and the list of things to do is endless! Shopping, sight seeing, eating and experience different cultures all in one city? Sounds like a plan. However, I am more than ready to experience lift on the East Coast in August!
I'll see you soon!
